COURSE DESCRIPTION

This hands-on course is suitable for users who need to learn how to create documents with an HTML format, connected by hypertext, for use on the world wide web or on a corporate intranet.

Target audience

Participants should understand the basic concepts involved in working with a personal computer (PC) and have experience using Word and a Web browser. No prior knowledge of FrontPage is assumed.

At course completion

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

Gain a principle understanding of the web and the structure of a web page
~      Create a new FrontPage web
~      Create links between and within web pages
~      Apply formatting to characters and paragraphs
~      Insert, size, align and link images
~      Create, modify and enhance a table
~      Control and structure a FrontPage web using a frameset.

Prerequisites

Participants are expected to be familiar with Windows 95, 98, 2002 or NT4.0 Primer, or equivalent knowledge, and have experience using both the keyboard and mouse. Equivalent knowledge of Word 2002 Foundation and Further Use of and De-mystifying the Web with Internet Explorer.
